Will my landlords be mad?
I’m so annoyed. I put money in my account to make sure there was enough for rent and then my bank fee increased and came out so I put a bit more in. Then a bill came out sooner than it usually does so now I’m short that much for rent. ($110)
I gave the cheque on Monday so I’m pretty sure my landlords have put it in but since it’s not electronic like my other bills it takes time to process and gets posted last and will bounce if there’s not enough. (Whereas the other bills simply wait until there is money)
I called the bank and they said there is nothing they can do. I then called my landlords and left a message saying it might bounce and if it does I will bring the money over to them tomorrow morning. (I get paid tonight at midnight)
Do you think my landlords will be upset? They know me and my roommate are responsible but I’ve only been there since September and I really did not want this to happen this early if ever. It’s a little embarrassing. Does it cost you a lot when a cheque bounces? SO annoying.
I dont think they’ll get mad I’m sure they’ll be grateful you called in advance. Rubber checks are about $35.00 US

I dont think so becuz u havent been there too long and if this doesnt happens alot i dont think. They will get madd,, good luck.

Yeah, of course they will be less then happy.
You owe another 35 too, bounced checks are charged the fee for the person depositing them too. It will end up costing you a total of 70, unless you have some sort of overdraft protection.
